Recreational Gymnastics Classes

Spring 2017 (January 9 - May 20)
Holidays are February 27-March 2 (Mardi Gras) and April 14-16 (Easter)

PARENT/TOT CLASSES: These classes work gross motor skills through a "wonderland of play stations" while affording quality time between parent and child.
  • Toddler Gym (TG): For toddlers up to 3 years old and their moms or dads. 
    • Session:18 weeks/45minutes Cost: $190
  • Mini Bears (MB2): For 2 to 3 1/2 year olds and their moms or dads. This is a slightly more structured class where the children and parents participate in group activities, circuit training and free play.
    • Session:18 weeks/45 minutes Cost: $240
  • Mini Bears (MB2.5): For 2 1/2- 3 1/2 year olds and their moms or dads. This is a fully structured class where children participate in a group warm-up, circuit training and group activities.  This is treated like a Tumble Bear class with the help of parents.
    • Session: 18 weeks/45 minutes Cost: $250

TUMBLE BEAR: These classes work on gross motor skills, coordination, and concpets such as over/under, font/behind, in/out, tight/loose, freeze, balance, skipping, right and left awareness, climbing, and courage (high and small places). We are laying the foundation of all further movement providing a storehouse from which the child can call in new learning situations including that of other sports.

  • TB3:    Children 3 - 3 1/2
  • TB3.5: Children 3 1/2 - 4
  • TB4:    Children 4 - 4 1/2
  • TB5:    Children 5 and up (not yet in kindergarten)
    • Session: 18 weeks/45 minutes 
    • Student/Instructor Ratio: 7/1 Cost: $270

 

  •  GIRLS DEVELOPMENTAL GYMNASTICS: This is a progressive program where children are taught that it is fun to learn! Self-confidence and self- esteem are developed when a child works hard and achieves their goals. Skills are broken down into very small steps to give every gymnast the best chance for success.

BG(Y): For those children that are at least 4.5 years-old, not yet in kindergarten, but are mentally ready for a one-hour class and physically prepared for Beginner skills.  Teacher recommendation required.

INT(Y): For those children that are at least 4.5 years-old, not yet in kindergarten, but are mentally read for a one-hour class and physically prepared for Intermediate skills.  Teacher recommendation required.

  • BG: Beginner - 5 & 6 years old
  • INT: Intermediate - 5 & 6 years old
  • BZ: Bronze - 5 & 6 years old
  • S: Silver - 5 & 6 years old
  • BG+: Beginner+ - 7 years old and up
  • INT+: Intermediate+ - 7 years old and up
  • BZ+: Bronze+ - 7 years old and up
  • S+: Silver+ - 7 years old and up
  • 10+: Multi level class for girls 10 years-old and up
    • Session: 18 week session/1 hour class Student/Instructor Ratio: 8/1Cost: $300
  • G: Gold - 6 -9 years old 
  • G+: Gold+ - 9 years old and up                                                                  
  • PLAT or PLAT+: Platinum or Platinum+ - 6 years old and up
    • Session: 18 weeks/ 1.5 hour class  Student/Instructor Ratio:8/1 Cost: $355
BOYS DEVELOPMENTAL GYMNASTICS: Boys develop upper body strength at an earlier age in gymnastics than in any other sport. The total movement and fitness experiences they receive will form the foundation for all new activities as they grow.
  • JB1: Junior Boys 1 - Kindergarten - 1st grade - 5 & 6 years old
  • JB2: Junior Boys 2 - Kindergarten - 1st grade - 5 & 6 years old
  • JB3: Junior Boys 3 - Kindergarten - 1st grade - 5 & 6 years old
  • BY1: Boys 1 - 7 years old and up
  • BY2: Boys 2 - 7 years old and up
  • BY3: Boys 3 - 7 years old and up                                                                  
  • 10+: Multi level class for boys 18 years-old and up
    • Sessions: 18 weeks/1 hour classes  Student/Instructor Ratio: 8/1  Cost: $300
  • BY4: Boys 4 - Advanced - 7 years and up - By invitation only                
    • Session: 18 weeks/1.5 hour classes Student/Instructor Ratio: 8/1  Cost: $355                             
TUMBLING: Focus on tumbling progressions on floor.  Three in ground tramps, a tumble trac, a rod floor, two 40 x 40 spring floors and a loose foam pit. Great for cheerleaders or any child who loves to flip!  
  • TU: -This program is appropriate for teens or preteens. Tumblers are leveled into beginner, intermediate, silver, gold, advanced and elite.
  • JRTU: Junior Tumbling is beginner, intermediate, silver and gold tumbling and is appropriate for 7 - 11 years old
    • Session: 18 weeks/1 hour classes  Cost: $300

Important Information:

  • You may choose a two day a week program at a discounted monthly rate.  Please call the pro shop for information.  
  • There is a $20 non-refundable annual fee due with your Fall tuition which is good until August 2017.
