Why
is gymnastics a good choice for your child?
Gymnastics is the greatest overall body conditioning
activity that you can have your child involved in. It develops strength,
flexibility, kinesthetic awareness, muscular control, muscular endurance,
coordination, timing, explosive power, agility, running speed, balance,
courage, grace, posture and poise. In addition, studies have shown that
physical fitness in children promotes and stimulates brain cells and,
therefore, enhances your child's academic education.
Movement education teaches not only self awareness but also
awareness of others. It teaches supportive behaviors such as self-discipline,
independent thinking, cooperative learning, and perseverance. Children learn to
work as a group, becoming sensitive to and accepting the differences between
themselves and other children. Respect for others is enforced. Children are
encouraged in appropriate social behaviors, such as taking turns and
responsibility for their own actions. Leadership skills are
promoted.
"Bodies built by good nutrition, hard
work and NO DRUGS" is our motto!!
