James has 31 years coaching experience. He has coached the Men's team at both Jacksonville State University, and the University of Georgia. James is a College Scholarship Athlete who also led his peers as Team Captain of LSU's Men's Gymnastic Team. He was the three-time All Around YMCA National Champion during his pre-college days, and is presently a Member of the USAG and the Elite Coaches Association, and is Safety and CPR Certified. James coaches many Flairs to State, Regional and National Championships.  James specializes on Bars, Vault and Tumbling.  He has a strong belief that if you don't give up on the gymnast, the gymnast will not give up on themselves.
